Musical Culture Information Center (Prasit Thaworn) is an institutes for maintaining art and culture of Research Institute for Language and Culture of Asia, Mahidol University which was established on Thursday 2nd December in 2000, it has collected Thai songs which were recorded by Professor Prasit Thaworn(National Aritist in Thai Music Field of year 1988), both original Thai songs in reel tape for 694 reels and copied songs in Cassette Tape for 134 cassettes, they had been created by knowledge, ability and attempt of Professor Prasit Thaworn for 30 years. The museum has provided index for searching and copied as digital system including saving data on database in computer. Moreover the museum also copied both of broadcasted works and not broadcasted ones to sort at the museum and classified them by type of Thai music band under the name of " Sarn Sieng Lae Rieng Roi(สานเสียงและเรียงร้อย)". Then the museum had disseminated them as CD for 91 pieces. Beside these works, reviving band and Thai Music Recording works of Professor Prasit Thaworn also were recorded by museum under name of "Phra Lor" and "Plern Pleng Pard Ranard Aek" which were played by Professor's student. Furthermore museum also created a valuable cultural event such as to pay respect to Thai Music and Art and Cultural professors, Cultural Summer Camp for youth, Thai music standard Seminar, Sing and dance at Thai house or Thai Circle Exhibition. Moreover this museum was a place for study and doing research, disseminating and preserving Thai musical culture including music from other each region, each ethnic in Thailand and countries in Southeast Asia.
