สถาบันวิจัยภาษาฯ ประชุมหารือความร่วมมือกับ เอสไอแอล อินเทอร์เนชันนัล (SIL International)

รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิริเพ็ญ อึ้งสิทธิพูนพร รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิจัย นวัตกรรมและการคลัง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุมิตรา สุรรัตน์เดชา รักษาการแทนรองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ดร.มิรินด้า บูรรุ่งโรจน์ ประธานศูนย์ศึกษาและฟื้นฟูภาษาและวัฒนธรรมในภาวะวิกฤต และบุคลากรสถาบันฯ ประชุมหารือความร่วมมือกับ Mr. Tim Armstrong, Director for SIL in Thailand, Mr. Nate Cheeseman, Ethnologue Point Person, Southeast Asia และDr.Kirk Person, Certified Senior Literacy and Education Consultant จากเอสไอแอล อินเทอร์เนชันนัล (SIL International) ในการพัฒนาและออกแบบระบบคลังข้อมูลภาษาและแผนที่ของกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ให้มีความชัดเจน และทันสมัยต่อยุคไทยแลนด์ 4.0  เพื่อลดความซ้ำซ้อนของข้อมูล และสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ทั้งในทางวิชาการและขับเคลื่อนในระดับนโยบายร่วมกันต่อไป ในวันที่ 23 มกราคม 2566 ณ ห้องณัฐ ภมรประวัติ ชั้น 1 สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Cooperation discussion between RILCA and SIL International

On January 23, 2023, representatives from RILCA, including Assoc Prof Dr Siripen Ungsitipoonporn, Deputy Director for Research, Innovation, and Finance, Asst Prof Dr Sumittra Suraratdecha, Acting Deputy Director for International Relations, Dr Mirinda Burarungrot, and other staff members, held a meeting with representatives from SIL International. The meeting focused on future cooperation between the two organisations in developing and designing modern language and map data systems for ethnic groups. The goal was to reduce outdated and duplicated data and ensure the data is useful for both academic and policy-making purposes, in line with Thailand’s 4.0 plan. The meeting took place in the Nat Pamornprawat room.
