RILCA Talk: เปิดมุมมอง “Social Poetics” กับ Michael Herzfeld จากมหาวิทยาลัยฮาร์วาร์ด

วันที่ 13 มกราคม 2569 สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดย ศูนย์ศึกษาและฟื้นฟูภาษาและวัฒนธรรมในภาวะวิกฤต ร่วมกับ หลักสูตรพหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษา จัดกิจกรรม RILCA Talk ในหัวข้อ “Social Poetics: An Approach to the Study of Social Interaction” โดยมี Professor Michael Herzfeld ตำแหน่ง Ernest E. Monrad Professor of the Social Sciences จากภาควิชามานุษยวิทยา มหาวิทยาลัยฮาร์วาร์ด ให้เกียรติมาวิทยากรพิเศษมาถ่ายทอดมุมมองและกรอบแนวคิดด้าน Social Poetics ในการศึกษาปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ณ ห้องณัฐ ภมรประวัติ ชั้น 1 สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย ศาลายา

ในการบรรยายครั้งนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ Michael Herzfeld ได้นำเสนอแนวคิด Social Poetics ในฐานะกรอบการวิเคราะห์ปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมที่อธิบายความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างภาษา อำนาจ และวัฒนธรรมในชีวิตประจำวันได้อย่างลุ่มลึก ผู้เข้าร่วมจากหลากหลายสาขาวิชาได้ร่วมรับฟังและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างกว้างขวาง โดยสาระการบรรยายมุ่งเน้นการทำความเข้าใจความหมายของการสื่อสารและการปฏิสัมพันธ์ในบริบททางสังคมที่แตกต่างกัน ซึ่งช่วยเปิดมุมมองใหม่ในการมองความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคคลและกลุ่มคนในสังคมร่วมสมัยอย่างรอบด้านยิ่งขึ้น

RILCA Talk: Exploring “Social Poetics” with Michael Herzfeld from Harvard University

On 13 January 2026, the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University, through the Center for Language and Cultural Revitalization in Crisis, in collaboration with the Multicultural Studies Program, organized a RILCA Talk entitled “Social Poetics: An Approach to the Study of Social Interaction.” The event was honored by Professor Michael Herzfeld, Ernest E. Monrad Professor of the Social Sciences in the Department of Anthropology, Harvard University, who delivered a special lecture sharing his perspectives and theoretical framework on Social Poetics in the study of social interaction. The talk was held at the Nat Phamonpravat Room, 1st Floor, Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Salaya Campus.
