สถาบันวิจัยภาษาฯ หารือความร่วมมือกับ University of Salzburg ประเทศออสเตรีย ในเวทีเสวนาสาธารณะเพื่อเสนอผลการวิจัยและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น หัวข้อ Health and wellbeing tourism and international retirement migration to Thailand
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มรกต ไมยเออร์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันฯ กล่าวเปิดเวทีเสวนาสาธารณะเพื่อเสนอผลการวิจัยและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น หัวข้อ Health and wellbeing tourism and international retirement migration to Thailand: Perspectives from migrants/tourists and local actors โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิริจิต สุนันต๊ะ อาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรพหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษา สถาบันฯ กล่าวต้อนรับผู้ร่วมเสวนา, Prof.Kyoko Shinozaki, Sociology and Human Geography Department, University of Salzburg ประเทศออสเตรีย เป็นผู้ร่วมอภิปราย และดำเนินการเสวนาโดย Dr.Dzeneta Karabegovic, Sociology and Human Geography Department จาก University of Salzburg ในวันที่ 23 พฤศจิกายน 2565 ณ ห้องณัฐ ภมรประวัติ ชั้น 1
ในโอกาสนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มรกต ไมยเออร์ และคณาจารย์สถาบันฯ ได้พูดคุยหารือร่วมกับ Prof. Kyoko Shinozaki, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Wolfgang Aschauer, Dr.Dzeneta Karabegovic และคณะ ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนจาก University of Salzburg ประเทศออสเตรีย หนึ่งในมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำในยุโรปที่มีผลงานด้านการศึกษาและการวิจัยในประเด็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและการเคลื่อนย้ายผู้คน เพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือในการสร้างผลงานวิจัยในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องร่วมกัน อันจะมีบทบาทในการสร้างความเข้าใจและแก้ไขปัญหาที่มาจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงของบริบทสังคมโลก
ทั้งนี้ ภายในงานยังมีการนำเสนอผลการวิจัย และพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในประเด็นที่น่าสนใจ ดังนี้
- เรื่อง “The impacts of Covid-19 on frontline low-end wellness and recreational tourism workers in Hua-Hin” โดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิริจิต สุนันต๊ะ อาจารย์อาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรปริญญาเอก สาขาวิชาพหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษา สถาบันฯ
- เรื่อง “Disillusion or adaptation after the pandemic? Analyzing the health tourism sector and potentially changing needs of long-term retired immigrants in Hua Hin / Thailand” โดย Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Aschauer, Sociology and Human Geography Department จาก University of Salzburg ประเทศออสเตรีย
- เรื่อง “Between fulfilled dreams and disappointed expectations: the retired Western community of Hua Hin” โดย Selin Aksoy นักศึกษาจากภาควิชา Sociology and Human Geography Department, University of Salzburg ประเทศออสเตรีย
- เรื่อง Till death do us part?: End-of-life care for ageing Western husbands in Thailand” โดย นางสาวขวัญชนก ใจซื่อสกุล นักศึกษาปริญญาเอก หลักสูตรพหุวัฒนธรรมศึกษา สถาบันฯ
RILCA discusses collaboration with the University of Salzburg in a public forum to present research results and exchange ideas
On November 23, 2022, Associate Professor Dr Morakot Meyer delivered the opening remarks at the public discussion forum “Health and Wellbeing Tourism and International Retirement Migration to Thailand: Perspectives from Migrants/Tourists and Local Actors.” Associate Professor Dr Sirijit Sunanta, lecturer of the Multicultural Studies Program, greeted the attendees, and Professor Kyoko Shinozaki from the Sociology and Human Geography Department, University of Salzburg, Austria, along with Dr Dzeneta Karabegovic, led a discussion in the Nat Pamornprawat Room.
