กิจกรรมสอนทำอาหารไทยให้กับ The State University of New Jersey

สถาบันวิจัยภาษาฯ จัดกิจกรรมการสอนทำอาหารไทยให้คณะจาก Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย (RILCA) จัดกิจกรรมการสอนทำอาหารไทย (Thai Cooking at Mahidol) ในหัวข้อ “Food and Sustainability: Study Abroad” ให้แก่อาจารย์และนักศึกษาต่างชาติ จาก Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ภายใต้ความร่วมมือของสถาบันโภชนาการมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล โดยมี นายอนุรักษ์ ก้านจันทร์ นักวิชาการวัฒนธรรม สถาบันฯ เป็นวิทยากรสาธิตการทำอาหาร และนางสาวพัฐชญาน์ วัดบัว เป็นวิทยากรบรรยาย ในวันที่ 5 มกราคม 2566 ณ อาคารเรือนไทย (ระเบียบ คุณะเกษม) เพื่อให้ชาวต่างชาติเรียนรู้ประวัติความเป็นมาและวัฒนธรรมของอาหารไทยในแง่การกินและการปรุงอาหารทั้งคาวและหวาน ได้แก่ ผัดไทย ส้มตำไทย และขนมบัวลอย

Thai Cuisine class for visitors from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA) organised a Thai Cooking activity for professors and students from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, USA, with the cooperation of the Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University under the “Food and Sustainability: Study Abroad” programme,. Mr. Anurak Karnchan, Cultural Officer, and Ms. Patchaya Watbour, a translator, led the activity at Mahidol Thai House on January 5, 2023. (Rabieb Kunakasem). RILCA was proud to highlight the history and culture of Thai cuisine in the cultural setting of eating and creating savoury and sweet dishes, such as Pad Thai, Thai Papaya Salad, and Bua Loy, which were featured on the menu.
