RILCA-NS Talk: การเสริมสมรรถนะวัฒนธรรมเพื่อการสื่อสารข้ามพรมแดนในยุคโลกาภิวัตน์

สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย (RILCA) ร่วมกับ คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล จัดกิจกรรม 2nd RILCA-NS Talk” ในหัวข้อ “Cultural Competence for Future Healthcare Professionals in a Globalised World: Towards Transformative Practice” โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณรงเดช พันธะพุมมี รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิจัยและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน พร้อมแนะนำ Prof. Dr. Shuangyu Li ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้าน Cultural Competency, Clinical Communication และ Language and Cultural Communication จาก King’s College London สหราชอาณาจักร ซึ่งให้เกียรติมาเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษ ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ตรงจากต่างประเทศ เพื่อเปิดมุมมองใหม่ในการบูรณาการความเข้าใจทางภาษาและวัฒนธรรมกับการปฏิบัติวิชาชีพด้านสุขภาพ  ในวันที่ 15 ตุลาคม 2568 ผ่านออนไลน์ระบบ Zoom

การเสวนาได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ครอบคลุมหลากหลายสาขาวิชาชีพ ซึ่งร่วมกันแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และมุมมองเกี่ยวกับการเตรียมความพร้อมของบุคลากรด้านสุขภาพในบริบทโลกาภิวัตน์ โดยเน้นการพัฒนา สมรรถนะด้านวัฒนธรรม (Cultural Competence) ที่จะนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติอย่างมีความเปลี่ยนแปลงและยั่งยืน (Transformative Practice)

เวทีเสวนาครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญที่ตอกย้ำบทบาทของภาษาและวัฒนธรรมในบริบทสุขภาพและการแพทย์ อีกทั้ง ยังเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการต่อยอดไปสู่การประยุกต์ใช้เชิง Implementation Science รวมถึงการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและแนวทางปฏิบัติที่สามารถสร้างผลลัพธ์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมในอนาคต

RILCA-NS Talk: Enhancing Cultural Competence for Cross-Border Communication in a Globalised Era

On 15 October 2025, the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, organised the 2nd RILCA-NS Talk on the topic “Cultural Competence for Future Healthcare Professionals in a Globalised World: Towards Transformative Practice” via Zoom. The event featured Prof. Dr. Shuangyu Li, an expert in Cultural Competency, Clinical Communication, and Language and Cultural Communication from King’s College London, UK, as the keynote speaker, who shared his expertise and international experience.

The session brought together participants from diverse disciplines to discuss the importance of cultural competence in healthcare. The talk highlighted strategies for integrating linguistic and cultural understanding into professional practice, preparing future healthcare professionals for effective cross-border communication in today’s globalised world.
