ดร.นันทมนต์ กู้ตลาด อาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรวัฒนธรรมศึกษา และพิพิธภัณฑศึกษา กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานสัมมนาวิชาการ WUN Webinar Series ในหัวข้อ “How can we Decolonise Language Revitalization? Some Ideas and Challenges” โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุมิตรา สุรรัตน์เดชา หัวหน้าโครงการ “Reducing Indigenous Inequalities: Contextualizing Strategies and Policies for Achieving Community Empowerment in Different Global Regions” กล่าววัตถุประสงค์การจัดงานสัมมนา และ Professor Julia Sallabank จาก SOAS University of London ประเทศอังกฤษ ให้เกียรติเป็นวิทยากรแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในการอนุรักษ์ ฟื้นฟูและสืบสานภาษาท้องถิ่นอย่างมีส่วนร่วมร่วมกัน ในวันศุกร์ที่ 15 มีนาคม 2567 ผ่านระบบ Zoom Meeting ทั้งนี้ มีนักวิชาการ นักวิจัย และนักศึกษาทั้งในและต่างประเทศจากทั่วโลกให้ความสนใจเข้าร่วมครั้งนี้
การจัดงานสัมมนานี้ เป็นส่วนหนึ่งภายใต้โครงการ WUN Research Development Fund 2022 จัดโดย สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ร่วมกับเครือข่าย Worldwide Universities Network ซึ่งได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจาก WUN ให้ดำเนินโครงการ “Reducing Indigenous Inequalities” โดยเป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และมหาวิทยาลัยสมาชิกเครือข่าย Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) จำนวน 4 แห่ง ได้แก่ Maastricht University ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์, The University of Sheffield ประเทศอังกฤษ, University of Leeds ประเทศอังกฤษ, University of Cape Town สาธารณรัฐแอฟริกาใต้ และ WUN External Partners จำนวน 5 แห่ง ได้แก่ SOAS University of London ประเทศอังกฤษ, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies ประเทศญี่ปุ่น, Meio University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น, University of Lucknow ประเทศอินเดีย และ Universiti Malaya ประเทศมาเลเซีย
1st WUN Webinar Series: “How can we Decolonise Language Revitalization? Some Ideas and Challenges”
Dr Nuntamon Kutalad, Lecturer in Cultural Studies and Museum Studies Program, welcomed participants to the WUN Webinar Series on the topic “How can we Decolonise Language Revitalization? Some Ideas and Challenges.” Assoc Prof Dr Sumitra Suraratdecha, Head of the project “Reducing Indigenous Inequalities: Contextualizing Strategies and Policies for Achieving Community Empowerment in Different Global Regions,” outlined the objectives of the webinar, and Professor Julia Sallabank from SOAS University of London, UK, was honored as a keynote speaker to exchange perspectives on inclusive, sustainable, and participatory approaches to language preservation, revitalization, and revitalization on March 15, 2567, via Zoom Meeting.
