RILCA Roundtable: เวทีแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางวิจัย Decolonizing Research เสริมพลังชุมชนพื้นเมือง

สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย (RILCA) จัดกิจกรรม RILCA Roundtable เสวนาโต๊ะกลมชวนมองรอบด้าน หัวข้อ “Decolonizing Research: Centering Indigenous Voices and Knowledge Systems” ในวันที่ 10 กันยายน 2568 ณ ห้องณัฐ ภมรประวัติ ชั้น 1 สถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

หัวข้อ RILCA Roundtable ครอบคลุมถึงการให้ความหมายเชิงลึกของ “Decolonizing Research” การเปรียบเทียบกระบวนทัศน์ความรู้ของชนพื้นถิ่น (Indigenous epistemologies) กับกรอบการวิจัยแบบตะวันตก (Western research paradigms) สิทธิความเป็นเจ้าของข้อมูลและทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ตลอดจนแนวทางการวิจัยแบบมีส่วนร่วมที่ตอบสนองต่อชุมชน โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก นักวิชาการทั้งในและต่างประเทศร่วมเป็นวิทยากร ได้แก่

• Prof. Dr. Simon Boonchoy-Peth จาก University of Vienna
• รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ขวัญจิต ศศิวงศาโรจน์ ประธานกลุ่มวิจัยความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและสุขภาวะ จาก RILCA, Mahidol University
• ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สราวุฒิ ไกรเสม อาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรภาษาศาสตร์ จาก RILCA, Mahidol University
• อาจารย์ ดร.มิรินด้า บูรรุ่งโรจน์ ประธานศูนย์ศึกษาและฟื้นฟูภาษาและวัฒนธรรมในภาวะวิกฤต จาก RILCA, Mahidol University
• Lukas Husa นักวิจัยโครงการ Cultural Heritage in Motion ทำหน้าที่ผู้ดำเนินรายการ

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ได้เปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมสะท้อนแนวทางการวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับชนพื้นถิ่น แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การปฏิบัติที่ชุมชนมีส่วนร่วมหรือเป็นผู้ริเริ่มงานวิจัย พร้อมหารือถึงความท้าทายและความรับผิดชอบของนักวิจัยที่ไม่ใช่คนพื้นถิ่น อีกทั้งเน้นย้ำคุณค่าและความซับซ้อนขององค์ความรู้ชนพื้นถิ่นที่สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ทั้งในด้านวิชาการและสังคม

RILCA Roundtable จึงเป็นเวทีทางวิชาการที่ส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น สร้างองค์ความรู้ใหม่ และสนับสนุนการวิจัยที่สอดคล้องกับความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและบริบททางสังคมในระดับสากล

RILCA Roundtable: A Platform for Exchanging Decolonizing Research Approaches and Empowering Indigenous Knowledge

The Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA) hosted the RILCA Roundtable, a comprehensive discussion under the theme “Decolonizing Research: Centering Indigenous Voices and Knowledge Systems”, on 10 September 2025 at the Nat Phomornpravat Room, 1st Floor, RILCA, Mahidol University.

The event featured distinguished speakers from both Thailand and abroad, including:

• Prof. Dr. Simon Boonchoy-Peth, University of Vienna
• Prof. Dr. Khwanjit Sasiwongsaroj, Chair of the Cultural Diversity and Well-being (CDWe) Research Group at RILCA
• Prof. Dr. Sarawut Kraisem, Faculty of Linguistics at RILCA
• Miranda Boonrungroj, Chair of the Center for Documentation and Revitalization of Endangered Languages at RILCA
• Lukas Husa, researcher of the Cultural Heritage in Motion project, who served as the moderator
