สถาบันฯ พูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะทางวิชาการและเครือข่ายการวิจัยกับ Marmara University ประเทศตุรกี
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มรกต ไมยเออร์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันฯ และ ดร.นันทมนต์ กู้ตลาด รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับ Prof. Dr.Fehmi Yılmaz หัวหน้าภาควิชาประวัติศาสตร์ และ Prof. Dr.Nuri Tinaz หัวหน้าภาควิชาสังคมวิทยาและผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือทางการศึกษา ของ Marmara University ซึ่งเป็นมหาวิทยาลัย Top 10 ของประเทศตุรกี ในโอกาสพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนทรรศนะทางวิชาการและเครือข่ายการวิจัยด้านประวัติศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมกับสถาบันวิจัยภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย ในวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2567 ณ ห้องณัฐ ภมรประวัติ โดยการพูดคุยในครั้งนี้ เป็นการเริ่มต้นสำคัญในการส่งเสริมองค์ความรู้ทางด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรมไทยและตุรกีอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม เพื่อนำไปสู่การพัฒนาต่อยอดในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานทางวิชาการ การวิจัย การศึกษาและการบริการทางวิชาการต่อไป
Prof. Dr.Fehmi Yılmaz มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านประวัติศาสตร์ออตโตมาน (Ottoman) โดยเน้นด้านสังคมและเศรษฐกิจและประวัติศาสตร์ยุคใหม่ตอนต้นของภูมิภาค Crimea และ Northern Black Sea มีผลงานตีพิมพ์ที่มีชื่อเสียง ได้แก่ หนังสือ Catalogue of Courthouse Registers of the Crimean Khanate, Historical Dictionary of the Ottoman Empire และบทความ Non-Muslims in the Crimea in the Second Half of the Eighteenth Century and on Ottoman State and Economy with Mehmet Genç
และ Prof. Dr.Nuri Tinaz มีความเชียวชาญและประเด็นหัวข้อวิจัยที่สนใจ ได้แก่ สังคมวิทยาศาสนาโดยเน้นประเด็นที่เกี่ยวกับชาติพันธุ์ การอพยพ และสังคมที่เชื่อมโยงกับศาสนาอิสลาม อาทิ Nationalist and Religious Movements, New Religious Movements (NRMs), Islamic movements and communities in the West both the USA and EU, Islamophobia และ Islam and Muslim in Media
Collaboration on Academic Perspectives and Research Networking between RILCA and Marmara University, Turkey
On June 26, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Morakot Meyer, Director of RILCA, and Dr. Nuntamon Kutalad, Deputy Director for International Relations, welcomed Prof. Dr. Fehmi Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Nuri Tinaz from Marmara University, one of the top 10 universities in Turkey. The gathering took place at the Nattapompravit Room, serving as a platform for meaningful academic discussions and research collaborations in history and cultural studies, facilitated by RILCA.
